I can tell you for a fact that neither hurting them, killing them, running away, nor spectating will work. This makes me think that it is not the same kind of invisibility than the one you've been working with. Only one out of 5 of those options actually works. I have written a plugin for my own network that has successfully solved this issue (for over a year, at this point) and offered to share and modify the source for Shotbow, but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. Unfortunately, 1.7.x players crash when spectating, so the simplest fix is out of the question. You can do this by simply running away, switching worlds, or switching "servers". Get out of render distance of the player. I vaguely remember the root issue, but various workarounds work for players:ġ. This invisibility glitch is something that has existed for over a year in vanilla Minecraft, and varies by version on how bad it is. It's annoying, can be avoided, but has nothing to do with invisibility. The issue with these items is as follows: A 1.6.4 server sends you, a 1.7.x client an invalid item. These items simply don't exist in Minecraft 1.7.x. The issue has nothing to do with crops, the bone, etc.
Just remember to be courteous, no matter which side of the invisibility battle you're on. JumJumJR has stated in this thread that you should downgrade to 1.6 if you have not already. You can also try and force them to be ghost, removing their invisibility after they finish the match. They are there to help and glitch abuse is worth a report. If they persist in abusing the bug, you can get any one of a number of moderators in the Shotbow chat or on Mumble.
Calmly tell them to go to Vertigo and it will work more often than not. If someone else is invisible.ĭon't try and curse them out of the game as that will most likely make them try and abuse the bug more. It only costs one match and it saves everyone grief fighting impossible battles. What you are advised to do to fix the bug is to go to Vertigo to reset your visibility. If you are being told that you are invisible, please be respectful of the other players and don't abuse the glitch. As of the release of Minecraft 1.7, this bug has become much more prevalent in normal gameplay, causing a large number of games to be impossible for the ghost. Since the release of Ghostcraft, there has been a bug that renders a player invisible to the rest of the server until they become ghost again.
